July, 2025 – There is no longer a provincial mask mandate in effect for healthcare facilities. However, as a portion of the eye exam is performed at very close range, some of our Doctors and Ophthalmic technicians or more comfortable wearing masks for all or part of the exam. We have a limited supply of masks available upon request if you would like to wear one for added comfort.

Street parking is available on Kingsway after morning rush hour (9:30 AM) and at all times on side-streets. We are located between Nanaimo and Slocan, a short walk from either the #25 or #33 buses (<5 minutes) or a longer walk from the Nanaimo SkyTrain station (15 minutes.)
